2nd Wedding Collection gets some love

So the second wedding collection that debuted at The National Stationery Show in May, finally got some photography love last week. After figuring out the look and feel I wanted for the new line, I sought out the talented Jensen Hande, who is an incredible photographer here in Jacksonville, to tackle the task of photographing our newest wedding line. I am so pleased after receiving the photos, with my photo styling (my new title, heeehee) expertise and Jensen's incredible eye, we were able to bang out some pretty beautiful photographs, that I think shows off this new line perfectly. It is so refreshing to see how this line turned out, the more and more I look at it, the more and more I love it. It definitely came straight from the heart, along with it's share of late late nights. What do you guys think of the new photography?! I would love to hear...

From the Knot: Statement-making fonts are all the rage, colored foils are hot, and sunshine yellow -- it's never been more fun. Here, straight from the National Stationery Show, are the hottest wedding invite trends of the year!

We were excited to be a featured on a pretty incredible round up that The Knot did, on the 7 hot trends of wedding invitations for 2012. It's no secret that I am a little obsessed with typography, and pairing those different elements together often creates the style that 42 Pressed is known for. The Invitation that they featured is called Jet Set, which is perfect for a fun destination wedding! You can check out Jet Set right here.

There are so many beautiful design elements utilized throughout the book to describe and illustrate the beauty of the Vandercook, I only wish I had access to this resource when I first became interested in letterpress.
